The Federal Capital Territory Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project has kick-started training of its Project Implementation Unit (PIU) members on the recent Training of Master Trainers workshop organised by Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The step-down training which took place at the ACReSAL Project Office in Gwarimpa, was coordinated by the Agric Officer of the Project, Mr Kayode Sanni who stood in for the Project Coordinator with the Natural Resource Officer, (NRO) Mr. Olalekan Ifelola and the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist Mrs. Margareth Oladoja making presentations.

The FCT ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Mrs. Caroline Opara had earlier intimated members on the importance the step down training which she said is to build the knowledge of the communities on effective landscape management. The success of the exercise she added, will help in realising the overall target of restoring 350,000 landscape across the participating states.
